  Otto's Toy Box
  Children's Toy Box

CHILDREN'S TOY BOX Rosalie painted a big wooden box for her son Otto to keep his toys in. It was left in San Diego when she and her children moved overseas. After returning to the States twelve years later the toy box was used to store fabric. After her death in 1998 the Otto Box was saved from demolition, photographed and stashed in a shed.

Rosalie completed scores of watercolors, illustrated greeting cards, cartoons and childrens books while living in Hawaii in the late 1950's to early 1960. She also did illustration, paintings, play backdrops, posters and flyers for schools, friends and families' projects over the years.
